Had an absolutely great time.

Friendliest people: Ireland.
Place we wouldn't really go back to: Italy.I took about 5,000 pictures but not sure if I have the time or willpower to try and do any formal write up. There are some beautiful places over there, but we definitely were missing the good ole US of A. There's no place like home :-)
To make this Z related, I only saw ONE Z in all of our travels. One charcoal TT in Amsterdam.
Sad note: We found out almost at the end of our trip that two of our really good friends (a husband and wife) were killed in a car wreck in Dallas and we were obviously too far away to go to the funeral, so the reality of that still hasn't set in. We had just seen them a couple of days before we left and they were jazzed about hearing about our travels when we got back. They were coming home early in the morning and apparently a tow truck was in the middle of the freeway trying to get a drunk off the road (who had crashed and bounced into the road). The tow truck was not lit up and so they never saw it and probably plowed into it at 70mph plus. Amazing how quickly things can change. :-(
